Although signs (especially ours) are very hard-wearing and efficient, from time to time, they can break down, pop a lamp or the tubes give up. Hendon signs can help you with fault-finding and repair your sign quickly and efficiently.
There will be occasions where either neon tubes or starting capacitor has failed (although these components are long-lasting - a failure in time is inevitable), we are able to attend the site where the sign is fitted and repair any faulty components. External fittings
We understand the need to minimize disruption to your business while work is going on, and this is why we arrange a mutually suitable fitting schedule that puts you in charge without inconvenience your customers and business.
Whilst we deal with the large chain stores and corporate companies, we recognise the needs of a small business and are passionate about delivering the best results regardless of your name and size. Therefore, we will take on small signs for van livery and full-scale shop fronts with equal importance.
External fixture integrity
The strength and security of the surface to which the external sign is to be fitted must be intact. Again, once we inspect the position of any external signage, we can advise you on the safest method of fitting to ensure your sign does not fall onto unsuspecting pedestrians. Most shop front architecture is designed to hold fittings such as Illuminated Box Signs but as there are many various kinds of finishes, we like to be sure when we inspect your premises. Please do ensure that if you are leasing retail space, you have permission to attach external signs.
Electrical supplies
In cases where signs require electrical power, we connect to the nearest point of supply. This will often take the form of a pre-routed external supply. Should more than this be required, the services of a qualified electrician must be sought. We will advise you of this when we inspect the premises prior to fitting.
